Alyssa is a graduate student at Richmont Graduate University, where she is working toward her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, set to graduate in May 2026. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from the University of North Georgia.

Alyssa specializes in Person-Centered Therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Relational-Cultural theories, while also integrating art and play techniques into the therapeutic process.

She is deeply committed to the belief that every client’s worldview is unique and valid, shaped by their individual experiences. Alyssa’s goal is to partner with clients in identifying and achieving their personal goals, while addressing any obstacles that arise on their path to healing and self-discovery. With a foundation of empathy and warmth, she creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly share their thoughts, emotions, and struggles. She aims to foster an environment where every client feels heard, respected, and supported on their journey toward wholeness.

Alyssa’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, working with adolescents (ages 5+) and adults facing anxiety, stress, depression, suicidal ideation, life transitions, grief, Autism, disordered eating, and OCD.

When she isn’t seeing clients, Alyssa is spending time taking photos, going to the gym, watching a good TV show, drinking coffee with friends, or spending time with her amazing husband, Caleb.
