Jason Howard is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background that spans corporate business, nonprofit work, and over a decade of pastoral ministry — including two years serving as a chaplain for the City of Milton Police and Fire Departments. That breadth of experience shapes the way Jason listens, the depth of care he brings to each session, and the seriousness with which he holds the human soul.

Jason's clinical focus centers on couples and individuals navigating some of the most difficult seasons of life. He has a particular passion for couples work at every stage — from premarital preparation to relationship repair to affair recovery. He also works with teens, adults, and families facing anxiety, grief, and the weight of patterns that feel impossible to change. His approach draws from research-backed behavioral therapies, helping clients understand why their emotions and responses make sense given what they've been through — while equipping them with the insight and tools to respond differently going forward.

Jason holds Gottman Level 2 certification with specialized Affair and Recovery training, is trained in Discernment Counseling for couples navigating ambivalence and high conflict, and has completed training in Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy. He earned his master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, and brings additional graduate training from Georgia Tech that informs the analytical rigor he applies to complex relational and personal challenges.

Jason believes healthy couples build healthy communities — and that conviction drives his work every day.

Outside the office, Jason can be found kayaking on the Chattahoochee, hiking, or exploring Roswell's restaurant scene. He enjoys travel, photography, and ballroom dancing with his wife of twenty years. He never skips his morning coffee.
