Who I help

I work with people who want movement to support more than their physical fitness.

You may come to yoga because you want to become stronger, improve mobility, manage stress, or simply create more space to breathe in the middle of a busy life. You may also be looking for a way to reconnect with your body after a difficult season or develop practices that help you feel more grounded and present.

I believe meaningful healing involves caring for both the mind and the body.

My background in psychology, years of volunteer work in hippotherapy, and my own experience with yoga have shown me how powerful movement, connection, and compassionate support can be. I have seen how physical experiences can influence confidence, emotional well-being, resilience, and the way we relate to ourselves.

That perspective shapes the way I teach.

Whether we are moving through an athletic flow, building strength, or slowing things down with a more grounding practice, my goal is to help you become more connected to what your body is communicating and more confident in your ability to respond to it.

What it’s like to work with me

My classes are thoughtfully designed, encouraging, and adaptable.

I enjoy creating sequences that feel purposeful and intelligent while still leaving room for each person to have their own experience on the mat. You can expect to be challenged, but never pressured to make your practice look like anyone else’s.

Some classes may be energetic and athletic. Others may place greater emphasis on grounding, breath, mobility, or slowing the nervous system down.

In either case, I want you to feel supported.

My trauma-informed training has shaped the way I think about choice, autonomy, safety, and individual experience in the yoga room. Every person arrives with a different body, history, energy level, and relationship with movement. I believe good teaching honors those differences.

Rather than expecting you to force your body into a particular posture, I encourage you to develop awareness of what you need in the moment and make choices that support your practice.

My hope is that you leave class feeling stronger and more centered—not simply because of what you accomplished physically, but because you spent time intentionally reconnecting with yourself.

Outside the office

Yoga is far more than exercise to me.

It can strengthen the body, improve mobility, and build endurance, but it can also create an opportunity to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and become more aware of what is happening beneath the surface.

Movement and breath give us a way to practice staying connected to ourselves, even when something feels challenging.

On the mat, we can explore effort without ignoring our limits.

We can practice strength without abandoning softness.

We can challenge ourselves while still responding to our bodies with respect.

Those lessons have a way of extending beyond yoga.

My goal is to create a practice that helps you feel more balanced, resilient, and equipped to navigate what life brings both on and off the mat.
