I work with teens and adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, emotional ups and downs, self-esteem concerns, or major changes in their lives. Therapy can provide a place to make sense of what you are experiencing, understand the patterns underneath it, and develop practical tools that help you feel more grounded and confident moving forward.
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who are struggling with their relationship with food, body image, perfectionism, or the pressure to meet unrealistic expectations for themselves. These struggles can affect far more than how you feel about your appearance or what you eat—they can shape your confidence, relationships, emotions, and everyday life. Together, we can work toward greater self-compassion, flexibility, and a healthier, more balanced relationship with yourself.
I also enjoy working with teens and young adults as they navigate the challenges that come with growing up and becoming more independent. This may include identity development, friendships and relationships, school or career stress, family dynamics, changing responsibilities, and uncertainty about the future. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your confidence, and build coping skills that you can carry with you through future transitions.
For adults, therapy may offer support during seasons of emotional overwhelm, grief, anxiety, relationship changes, career shifts, or other significant life transitions. We can work together to process difficult experiences, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and create meaningful changes that support a greater sense of balance and well-being.
I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, understood, and accepted as you are. My approach is warm, genuine, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own experiences, and my role is to come alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and support as we figure out what will best help you reach your goals.
At the same time, I believe therapy can be both supportive and active. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring our work to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Together, we may explore the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns contributing to what you are experiencing while also developing practical strategies you can use outside of the therapy room. My hope is that therapy helps you not only feel better in the moment, but also develop greater self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and the ability to navigate future challenges in a healthier way.
You can expect me to bring compassion and encouragement to our work while also gently challenging you when it may help you grow. Ultimately, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be fully yourself while developing the tools and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.
