I work with adults who want to move their bodies with greater intention, build strength and mobility, and create practices that support their overall well-being.
My relationship with yoga began in 2007 during my first pregnancy, when a friend gave me a prenatal yoga video. At the time, I had no idea that this simple introduction would eventually become such an important part of my life.
My background has always been rooted in movement and education. I grew up in central Iowa playing sports and later became a teacher and cross-country and track coach. After transitioning into the corporate world and spending nearly a decade in education technology, I returned to movement in a more intentional way following the birth of my third child.
In 2014, after stepping away from full-time work and moving from Chicago to Atlanta with my husband and three young boys, I began practicing yoga more consistently. I quickly experienced how profoundly yoga could influence not only my physical health, but also my mental and emotional well-being.
That experience led me to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Kim Saunders and ultimately develop a much broader practice and understanding of movement.
Today, I enjoy helping people discover that movement does not have to look one particular way to be meaningful. Whether your goal is to become stronger, improve mobility, reduce stress, develop greater body awareness, or simply create a little more space to breathe, I want to help you find a practice that supports the life you are living.
My approach is encouraging, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that movement should support the whole person.
With a background in education and coaching, I enjoy teaching in a way that gives people both the instruction and confidence they need to understand their bodies and make movement their own.
I believe there is value in both challenge and restoration. Some days we may build strength, mobility, and endurance. Other days, the most meaningful thing we can do is slow down, breathe, and create space to reconnect with ourselves.
My experience across yoga, Pilates, barre, TRX, and myofascial self-massage allows me to draw from different movement disciplines depending on what best supports the practice.
After more than a decade of teaching and continuing education, I still approach movement with curiosity. There is always more to learn, and there is always an opportunity to help someone discover something new about what their body can do.
My hope is that you leave class feeling stronger, more grounded, and more connected—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

I moved to Atlanta from Chicago in 2014 with my husband and our three young boys, and Atlanta has been home ever since.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family, staying active, exploring Atlanta, and continuing to learn about health and well-being. My background in education and coaching continues to shape the way I approach both movement and life: with curiosity, encouragement, and a belief that there is always room to grow.
