Who I help

I work with teens and adults who want to become stronger, healthier, and more confident in what their bodies can do.

You may be brand new to fitness and unsure where to begin. You may have exercised for years but feel stuck or ready for a more intentional plan. You may be returning to movement after pregnancy, a major life change, weight gain, an injury, or simply a long season away from the gym.

Wherever you are starting, I believe your fitness journey should be built around you.

My primary focus is strength and resistance training. I help clients build muscle, improve overall strength, move with greater confidence, and reduce the risk of injury while developing habits that can actually last outside of the gym.

I am especially passionate about working with pregnant and postpartum women, individuals pursuing weight loss or body-composition goals, and people who may feel intimidated by exercise. We can work toward physical goals like fat loss, muscle development, balance, coordination, and strength while also addressing the habits, fears, self-doubt, and thought patterns that sometimes make progress harder than it needs to be.

My goal is not simply to get you through a workout. I want to help you build the skills, confidence, and mindset that allow fitness to become a sustainable part of your life.

What it’s like to work with me

My approach is encouraging, intentional, and grounded in trust.

Fitness can be intimidating. Trying something new can feel uncomfortable, especially if you have spent years feeling disconnected from your body or convinced that exercise simply is not for you. I want our work together to feel different.

I strive to create a peaceful, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can learn, make mistakes, try difficult things, and grow without feeling like you have to prove yourself.

I believe meaningful change is usually built through small, consistent steps rather than dramatic overhauls. We will focus on realistic habits that move you forward over time, recognizing that even a small step counts when it is moving in the right direction.

Alongside your workouts, I often incorporate mindset and habit-based coaching. We may explore what tends to get in the way of consistency, how you respond when things feel difficult, and how to move away from all-or-nothing thinking. I want you to develop the confidence to keep showing up even when life is not perfect.

My nursing background also shapes the way I think about health. Before becoming a personal trainer, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent six years working as a Registered Nurse in hospital and bedside settings. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of prevention, long-term health, and meeting people with compassion wherever they are in the process.

Ultimately, I want you to leave our sessions feeling proud of what you accomplished and increasingly confident in what you are capable of doing next.

Outside the office

My relationship with fitness is deeply personal.

There was a time when I weighed 262 pounds and struggled with deeply negative beliefs about myself and whether I was even deserving of health. My progress began when I started identifying and challenging those patterns rather than continuing to let them define what I believed I could do.

Over time, fitness shifted from something that felt like punishment into something I could experience as an act of care for myself.

That transformation changed much more than my body. It changed the way I thought about growth, consistency, failure, and what becomes possible when we stop expecting ourselves to change everything at once.

Because of that experience, I know how vulnerable starting can feel. I also know that your journey does not need to look like mine—or anyone else's. Your goals, your progress, and your story belong to you.

My role is to help you discover what you are capable of and build from there.
