Adults of varied experience levels, from newer students to experienced practitioners seeking a strong, thoughtful, and technically grounded practice

I work with adults who want a yoga practice that feels strong, intentional, and sustainable.
I first came to yoga through my interest in athletics and fitness. What kept me coming back, however, was realizing that the benefits extended far beyond the physical. Yoga helped me feel stronger and more mobile, but it also created a sense of mental clarity, emotional balance, and greater awareness of how I was moving through everyday life.
More than 20 years later, those same qualities continue to shape the way I practice and teach.
I enjoy working with students who want to improve strength, mobility, balance, alignment, and overall movement quality while also developing a more mindful connection to their bodies.
Whether you are newer to yoga or have practiced for years, my goal is to help you understand the movement rather than simply follow along.
My classes are fun, creative, mindful, and challenging.
I enjoy building sequences that allow students to work hard while still paying close attention to alignment, breathing, and the mechanics of movement.
You can expect clear instruction and an emphasis on understanding how your body is positioned throughout the practice. I want you to know not only where you are going in a pose, but how to get there safely and effectively.
My background in anatomy and physiology influences the way I teach, particularly when it comes to alignment, movement progression, and appropriate adjustments. Rather than forcing every student into the same shape, I encourage you to understand your own body and work from there.
I am comfortable challenging experienced students while also offering options that allow newer practitioners to build a strong foundation.
My goal is for you to leave class feeling like you worked hard, learned something about your body, and enjoyed the process.

Strength and effort are important, but so are awareness, control, alignment, and knowing when to modify.
The physical practice gives us an opportunity to become more attentive to the way we move and respond under pressure. A challenging posture can teach us patience. A difficult sequence can teach us how to breathe when effort increases. And slowing down enough to pay attention can reveal habits we might otherwise miss.
I enjoy teaching Alignment-Based Vinyasa Flow, Power, and Ashtanga-inspired practices because they allow us to combine strength, mobility, breath, and mindfulness in a way that is both athletic and intentional.
After more than two decades of teaching, I still believe there is always something new to learn on the mat.
