Nutrition Awareness Month
During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.
At AMCN, we encourage clients to focus on getting plenty of fiber, healthy fats, plant based proteins and high antioxidant foods to feel their best mentally and physically.
Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries are examples of foods that are high in fiber, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as low in calories. This week, try adding a handful of mixed berries to your bowl of oatmeal, as a side to your eggs and toast, on a salad or even as a snack.
