Devon Brown earned his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and is trained in trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and holistic approaches to care. As a licensed minister, he also offers space for emotional health and spiritual integration to work together for clients who desire faith to be part of their healing.

Devon specializes in attachment issues, child (6+) and adolescent therapy, men’s issues, racial and cultural identity development, spiritual integration, and creative art-based interventions. He incorporates psychodynamic exploration, focusing on defense mechanisms, cognitive distortions, and parts work. His goal is to help clients better understand the deeper patterns that shape how they think, feel, and relate.

Creativity is central to Devon’s work. He uses expressive arts, imaginative techniques, and client-led activities to help therapy feel personal and engaging. When working with kids, Devon intentionally learns their interests, hobbies, and unique personalities so he can incorporate what they naturally enjoy—art, music, sports, or play—into practical tools they can use both inside and outside the therapy room.

Before entering the counseling field, Devon earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and business. Through both his studies and his ministry work, he connected with people from all walks of life. Devon spent years helping youth and college students identify their academic, spiritual, and personal goals, enjoying the process of thinking creatively, building meaningful programs, and developing innovative solutions that kept students engaged. Today, he brings that same energy, compassion, and creativity into his work with individuals, kids, and families.

In his spare time, Devon loves spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys working out at the gym, playing volleyball, listening to music or podcasts, and making time to laugh and connect with friends.
